Stephen E. Gardner, MA
Vice President/Chief Strategic Officer

Stephen E. Gardner is Vice President and Chief Strategic Officer (CSO) at Women of Valor Foundation and president of Crown of Hope Ministries, Inc.

He believes that as we preach and teach the message of Christ, we should express our faith by making a difference in the community we serve. He believes that through social justice initiatives the church can make a difference, by addressing the needs of the economically disadvantaged and vulnerable populations.

To this end he has directed several key initiatives such as, Project Restore, the initiative out of the Governors Office, which focused on spiritual care, basic needs assistance and stabilization of 2005 Hurricane evacuees who were relocated to Arizona.

Additional, experience includes Bridging The Gap, of the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church Foundation in Indianapolis, IN, an initiative funded with a matching grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to increase HIV counseling and testing in communities of color and to expand this outreach into care coordination for those individuals infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.

He earned a Master of Arts in Urban Ministry Studies, Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies, both from Martin University, Indianapolis, IN. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University, Prescott Valley, AZ.
